When they're happy, kids sound the same everywhere.

It's hard to overestimate how valuable Google is for traveling. From instant translations of live conversations and pictures of text, to directions and information about things happening everywhere around you; it really can't be overstated. Sure, sometimes the translation is a little off and the directions for foot powder will tell you to fuck yourself. Or, sometimes walking directions will suggest you shimmy down the shoulder of an eight lane highway. But on the whole it has completely changed the game.

It helped me find a Friday market at a temple 20 minutes walk from my hotel. Surrounded on three sides by different schools: laughing children, ancient architecture, cauldrons of curry, peddlers of all types, colors and music. It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Thanks Google, market to me like one of your French girls.   

Trouble with a camera with a lot of controls is... sometimes you mess them up a little. I had my exposure set a little high this day. Everything feels a little washed. Oh well. Lots of smiles.
